October is National Fire Prevention Month, and Dryer Vent Wizard franchisees across the country are supporting the Children’s Burn Foundation and reaching out to raise awareness about fire prevention. The Children’s Burn Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides access to medical and psychological treatment for children who have suffered injury and trauma as a result of fire. They also provide fire safety and fire prevention education courses for parents, caregivers, and kids. During the month of October, Dryer Vent Wizard of Wayne County donates a portion of our profits from each job to the Children’s Burn Foundation and ask our customers to do what they can to support this cause by donating too.
It is our job to keep our customers’ homes safe from fire by providing our services, but it is also our duty as members of our community to do what we can to keep all of our neighbors safe. Raising fire prevention awareness in the public and raising funds for the Children’s Burn Foundation are two great ways to do just that.
